Designed by award-winning naval architect Rene van der Velden, AURORA was built by Moonen—one of Northern Europe’s pedigree luxury superyacht shipyards based in the Netherlands.
She was delivered in 2004, fully equipped for extended sea voyages and arrived in Australia in 2014. With a steel hull construction, AURORA is a robust and stable yacht with a shallow draft allowing easy access to inlets, beaches and the reef.
In 2021 under new stewardship, AURORA underwent an extensive refit and modernisation and has now dawned as a unique beauty on the waters of the Pacific Ocean.

Curated and Crafted
The approach to the reimagining of AURORA is the result of a remarkable collaboration between master fabricators and artisans. With a comprehensive re-finish by Superyacht Solutions, Aurora also features new stainless steel biminis and a new hydraulic swim platform by leading marine fabricator Lumark Fabrications. The teak decking and built-in furniture including the new aft deck bar and flybridge sun pad were custom-fitted by O'Neill Shipwrights under the watchful eye of Andy O'Neill. Workshop 28 who are known for their exquisitely crafted architectural furniture and high-end marine interiors, produced all the built-in joinery and bespoke masterpieces, whilst Pacific Trim was responsible for the formidable attention to detail given to the exterior and interior upholstery and trimming.
